Peaky Blinders has returned to BBC One and BBC iPlayer for its sixth and final season, with fans sharing their praise for episode 1's Helen McCrory tribute.

The period crime drama features the welcome return of Cillian Murphy's charismatic Brummie gangster Tommy Shelby and Tom Hardy as brutal mobster Alfie Solomon, along with the addition of Help and Line of Duty's Stephen Graham introducing his anticipated Liverpudlian docks worker Hayden Stagg.

Speaking recently to RadioTimes.com in an exclusive interview, creator Steven Knight teased Graham's debut.

"I hope they'll be surprised. What I can say, he's from Liverpool," he said. "And he's speaking in his own accent, which I think Stephen enjoyed."

Elsewhere, we also have new additions to the beloved Peaky Blinders cast, in the form of Boston gangster Jack Nelson (James Frecheville), new family arrival Duke Shelby (Conrad Khan), and the fascist mistress of Sir Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin), Lady Diana Mitford (Amber Anderson).

While the series is currently airing on BBC One and is available to catch up on iPlayer, here's what we know so far about when it arrives on Netflix.

When is Peaky Blinders season 6 released on Netflix?

Peaky Blinders season 6 will arrive on Netflix internationally on Friday 10th June 2022.

All episodes in the sixth season are expected to released as a box set.

The first five seasons are already available on the platform, with each season consisting of six episodes.

Speaking to the Variety, star Cillian Murphy noted: "I think this is the culmination of the series that hopefully improves upon the last season and makes the most recent one the richest and deepest one that we possibly can, partially because of all of the pandemic shit happening in the world and, of course, the really sad loss of [Helen] McCrory.

"I think we are determined to make this a special series and we have been extra committed to working hard. I think the fans will be pleased!"
